Pioneer Project Leads to Action

Camosun students are in transit to their commuter college.

After recently finishing my Pioneer Project, I have felt the desire to get something started at Camosun College. I'm quite busy with campus ministry at UVic (and that's an understatement) but I can definitely take time to coach some Camosun students on how they can reach their campus for Christ.

I Facebook messaged 3 students who currently go to Camosun and asked if they were interested in establishing a community in Christ on their campus. One of the students suggested they start with a coffee club in the cafeteria to start discussion and fellowship.

My hope is to cheer them on as they start this coffee club and coach them to start-up as an official Camosun club (which would make it the only Christian/spiritual club on campus)!

• Pray for the establishment of a Christian club at Camosun and for these 3 students to become beacons of light on their campus.
